Blogger offers a free Contact Form for your blog which can be placed on the your sidebar since they’ve made it as a Gadget. Fortunately, you can add this form to your Contact page by using a similar code structure. Keep in mind that the messages will be sent to the email used for your Blogger account, so you need to check the email while logged in with this address.

To add a Contact Form to Your Contact Page:

1. From your Blogger dashboard, go to Pages in the left-hand menu > click on ‘New page’.

2. Type Contact in the title field, then click on the pencil icon and choose <> HTML view.

3. Remove any code that you find there and then copy-paste this code below:

4. Publish the page and send a test message, then check your email associated with your Blogger account to see if the Contact Form works well.

Note: If you want to add the Contact page to the menu and find the link, hover over your Contact page and right click on the Eye icon > select “Copy Link Location” (or “Copy Link Address” for Chrome).

Some of our Blogger themes provide three useful Promo Boxes that you can use to link to your categories, blog pages or any other websites. Here you can promote a product, your shop or anything that you believe in and want to put it in the spotlight!

These Promotional Boxes are usually located below the Featured Slider or in the footer of your blog. Let’s see how you can create them:

Setting Up the Promo Boxes in Blogger

1. Access your Blogger dashboard and go to ‘Layout’ > click the ‘Edit’ link on the ‘Promo Box’ Image gadget.

2. Use the ‘Title‘ field to add the name of the page or product that you want to promote.

Optional: You can add a short description by using the ‘Caption‘ field.

3. Use the ‘Link‘ field to paste in or type the URL to which you would like the page to redirect.

Note: If you want to add the link to a label page, copy the link below and replace LabelName with the name of your label (since this is case sensitive, you should write it exactly as you added it to your posts, i.e. Travel is not the same as travel):

/search/label/LabelName?max-results=7

4. Check the “Upload image from computer” option and then click the Browse… button to upload a photo.

5. Once you have finished personalizing the promo box, click on the ‘SAVE‘ text in orange to save changes.

All you need for this guide is your “About Me” page, a photo of yourself and some text where you can write a brief description of yourself, or your accomplishments in blogging. Then, you can configure the About Me Image gadget as explained below:

1. Go to the Layout section of your blog’s dashboard and Edit the gadget called “About Me” which is usually found in the sidebar (or you can look for the area where it appears in our demo).

2. Add some intro text about you (or your blog) by using the “Caption” field:

Optional: You can use the Link field below to add the URL to any page published on your blog (such as “About me”), or it could be an external site (like your Instagram profile). This will make your image clickable and it will send your visitors to that page.

3. Next, select the “Upload image from computer” option and click the Browse… button to upload your photo.

Note: don’t check the “Shrink to fit” option.

4. When you’ve finished adding all the details, click on the “SAVE” text to apply the changes.

And this is how you can configure the About Me Image gadget in Blogger. You can also check our guide on How to Add Author Profile/Bio Box Below Post.

The Featured Slider is a great tool to highlight the contents of your blog and call the attention of your site visitors. With this slider, you can select a specific post label that will then populate the slider, hide certain info like post meta, and choose the number of slides that will appear in the slider.

Note: By default, the Featured Slider will display your latest blog posts at the top of your page (usually in homepage). To feature posts only from a certain category, check to have that label already added to the posts you want to show.

Setting Up the Featured Slider

Step 1. Access your Blogger Dashboard and go to Layout > click Edit on the “Featured Slider” gadget.

Step 2. Now, you will see the slider code that you can modify to suit your needs. To display posts from a specific label or category, look for default/? in the slider’s code and then REPLACE IT with default/-/Label? and then replace the Label text with your label.

Please note: The label is case sensitive. “Label” is not the same as “label” or “LABEL”. You need to type it exactly as it appears in your post editor, otherwise the slider will not work.

Step 3. To apply your changes, click on the “SAVE” text.

Important: Our Featured Slider does not work with multiple labels. If you want to display different categories, first add an unique label to the posts you want to feature and then use it in the slider’s code (as explained above).
